I was specifically looking for a SIM-based dash cam for my EV that could offer live recording even when the car is switched off. Installation & Setup:
Super easy! The camera charges through the cigarette lighter while driving, and the OBD provides power when the car is switched off. No complicated wiring, no risk to warranty.
Performance (After 2 Weeks of Use):
Live Tracking: Works flawlessly—I can view the live feed anytime on my mobile, along with exact GPS location and vehicle speed. We can also view paly backs of small durations
Smart Alerts: Sends notifications whenever the car is switched on or off.
Collision Detection: Very sensitive, even door open/close is detected and send message with a snap shot
Camera Quality: Good overall, including night view. (Would love to see higher resolution in future versions.)
Verdict:
This dash cam has fully met my expectations. Especially for EV owners as well for ICE vehicle owners who want park mode, live view, GPS tracking and peace of mind without voiding their warranty, this is the perfect choice. I am 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
